What is ONDA PRO?

ONDA PRO is a non-surgical face and body contouring system powered by Coolwaves® technology. It uses 2.45 GHz microwave energy to deliver controlled energy into different tissue depths while integrated cooling helps manage the skin surface.

ONDA PRO is not one treatment with one standard setting. The system offers different handpieces designed to target different tissue depths and treatment goals. Your provider selects the appropriate handpiece, settings and treatment dose based on the area being treated and your individual anatomy.

Personalized Coolwaves® Treatment

ONDA PRO features Deep, Shallow and Pocket handpieces, each designed to distribute energy at a different tissue depth.

Not every treatment uses every handpiece. Your provider determines the appropriate approach based on the treatment area, tissue thickness and whether the primary concern is localized fat, cellulite, superficial tissue or skin laxity.

Treatment is prescribed according to the area and individual tissue characteristics rather than simply by purchasing a fixed number of kilojoules.

What to Expect

During treatment, you may notice gradually increasing warmth, heat, tingling or prickling. Integrated cooling helps manage the skin surface while therapeutic heat is delivered beneath it.

There is generally minimal interruption to normal daily activities. Temporary warmth, redness, tenderness, swelling or firmness may occur in the treated area.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Treatment recommendations depend on the area, tissue characteristics and treatment goal.

For subcutaneous contouring, a typical treatment plan includes approximately 4 treatments every 3 to 4 weeks. Maintenance may include approximately 2 treatments every 8 to 12 months.

For more superficial concerns, a typical treatment plan may include 2 to 4 treatments every 2 to 4 weeks. Maintenance may be recommended depending on your individual treatment goal.

Before Your Treatment

Good hydration is recommended throughout your treatment series. Approximately 2 litres of water per day is generally encouraged beginning several days before treatment and continuing throughout the treatment cycle.
